Harry Potter #1
The abbreviated back story is I attempted to read the first book, but couldn't get past the 2nd page. I'm not exaggerating. So tonight we finally went for the first movie, only 8 years later.
It was cute. It was well done. It was not for me.
I rate "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" at 3 Boos.

I thought 3 boos was your "not so bad" sort of rating. Can you clarify 2 vs 3?
HP & the SS spoke to me at a 2 Boos level. However, I know this genre does not typically appeal to me, and acknowledge that other people would enjoy it, as opposed to something like, say, Snatch. ;-)
