Christmas Movies
We started our Christmas film festival with "Elf." I've seen it many times, and still like it. Will Ferrell usually nails it, and "Elf" is no exception.
Next up, "Fred Claus." This should have been a funny movie. The premise was good, the plot was good, the actors were good, and yet something didn't work. It just didn't draw the laughs. I didn't hate it, but I was disappointed.
I rate "Elf" at 4 Boos.
I rate "Fred Claus" at 2 Boos.

I think I liked Fred Claus better than the Boo did, but he is right in that something didn't quite gel...to be honest, I think it was Vince Vaughn. I just don't think he was right for this role. But I'd still go with 3 boos.
