Where to begin on my list of grievances? Let's start at the beginning. The premise that this was a found video was legitimate, but the execution was bad. Did I need over 20 minutes of party footage before the first hint of what was going to happen? No. Did I need the character development for these people? No. Having had that character development, did I care what happened to these people? No. Easiest improvement they could have made? When the dark haired girl, Marlena, exploded, they should have shown it.

One other gripe, could they not have sprung for a few extras to simulate the 1.6 million people of Manhattan trying to escape the monster?

I found myself liking this movie less and less with each passing minute.
