Taken
What's the word I'm looking for? cliché? formulaic? trite? "Taken" had a good premise, and plenty of good action, but the level of the reality suspension they were asking of me was too high a hurdle. I mean come on, he just happens to run into the very guy who swiped his daughter at the airport in the first of a long series of unbelievable long shots.
I rate "Taken" at 2 Boos.

Maybe he's just REALLY good at what he does! Or maybe they just didn't show the other three times he went to the airport but missed the bad guy... I actually had a bigger problem with the near-perfect rendering of his face that happened to be reflected when he took the photo.
