Giving in to Evil
For three "Resident Evil" movies in a row I've watched the previews and thought they looked cool. I declined to see the early ones because I was certain any movie based on a video game must be lame. However, when the previews for the third one were still calling me, I decided it was time to invest in the franchise. So last night I rented the first one, and it was pretty decent. I'll see more.
I rate "Resident Evil" at 3 Boos.

Last night I started to watch the second movie in the trilogy, "Resident Evil: Apocalypse." It quickly became clear it was lame. I was pretty disappointed, and turned it off. I'm not going to do a full review. Suffice it to say, it didn't hold up to the original.
