The Prestige

"The Prestige" has a great premise, rival magicians attempting to destroy each other for revenge of past grievances. The plot twists are good. The ending is good. This is a pretty darn good movie.

However, I do have one major complaint. The dialog could not be heard or understood. Despite multiple rewinds, and endlessly playing with the bass, treble and volume, we could not understand what they were saying. In desperation we finally turned on the subtitles and watched the whole movie that way.

I rate "The Prestige" at 4 Boos (despite the previously discussed problems).
